Apple hit with lawsuit for iPhone X “animoji” feature.
Tokyo based software company “Emonster kk” sued “Apple” in federal court in San Francisco, saying they hold the trademark on animoji and Apple stole this name to use on a feature on their upcoming iPhone X which is a deliberate infringement.
An Apple spokesperson declined on this statement saying animoji is a new feature that allows users to create animated emoji and it has nothing to do with any Japanese word.
Google Pixel 2 XL has a display issue!
Google uses similar OLED displays for their Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL which are available on Sony and Samsung phones. OLED displays are known for adding extra punch of colours. However, users have been complaining on the Google Pixel 2 XL that its display is appearing too dull rather than vivid and punchy.
Google has acknowledged the complaints and says it’s open for a software update that could add more display color options.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ : Best performing smartphones!
Samsung again takes the top two positions on the Consumer Reports ranking. The Galaxy S8 and the S8+ are by far the best performing smartphones of this year. The recently launched iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are on 4th and 5th place respectively. And surprisingly the previous version of the Samsung Galaxy which is the Galaxy S7 (launched in 2016) is ranked on 3rd. The recently launched Galaxy Note 8 is on 6th position.
OnePlus 5T is coming soon!
Co-founder Carl Pei gave a hint on his twitter about the upcoming OnePlus 5T. The news is not official yet. But as per rumors you can expect this phone in mid November.
OnePlus 5T fake launch invite
So as you know OnePlus 5T is coming soon. A press invite for the launch event dated November 5 was circulated and went viral after a blog post on GSMArena. Then the company told GSMArena that the press invite is fake.
