LG Q6: Who is this for?

LG Q6 – a beautiful looking device with having the similar kind of “FullVision Display” like that of the LG G6 is currently available in Amazon India and if you are looking for to get a bezel less device in a smaller form factor, go through this blog and check if the LG Q6 is a device for you.

First let us tell you the basic features and functions of the LG Q6. It has a 5.5 inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, which is obviously the USP of this device. It comes with Snapdragon 435 which is an Octa core processor. It has 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory and a 3000 mAh battery. The LG Q6 is running with Android 7.1.1 right out of the box and it has a premium built just like other LG devices. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G VoLTE.

It has a secondary noise cancellation mic on the top and it does have a headphone jack. With this phone you can use 2 SIM cards along with an external SD card. Coming to the security features, it has “Face unlocking” system and all these features and specs are worth ₹14,990.

So what did we miss? Yes, not all the features available in this device are upto the mark. So let us tell you the cons of this device.

  1. Being a 2017 device from a manufacturer like LG, we have expected the fingerprint scanner. But unfortunately, it’s not there.
  2. The LG Q6 comes with a single 13mp rear and a 5mp front camera. The rear 13mp sensor is decent enough. But the camera software that we have seen in the LG G6 which allowed us to shoot videos in manual mode is not available in here. So that’s a downside.
  3. The charger available in the box is not a fast charger.
  4. The charging and data transfer port is a standard USB port.

So as we have mentioned before, only the display is the USP for this phone. So if you are doing a lot of online stuff like browsing internet, using social media apps or watching online video then it’s a device for you. But if you want more on the same price range then the Moto G5 Plus is a best option. It also has the standard USB port. But in terms of camera and charging speed the Moto G5 Plus is way better than the LG Q6.
