Instagram has been putting a lot of new stuffs to this platform lately. On Tuesday (October 24, 2017) Instagram announced this new feature for Stories “Instagram Live collaboration “, where you can go LIVE with your friend on Instagram.
This new feature is available on version 20 of the iOS and Android app of Instagram. Instagram says “Live video helps you share in an authentic way, but sometimes it can be intimidating when you’re on your own. It’s easy to add a guest while you’re broadcasting. Simply tap the new icon on the bottom right and tap “Add” to invite anyone who’s currently watching. Once they join, you’ll see the screen split into two and your friend pop up right below you.”
You can also remove your guest and add someone else at any time or your guest can also choose to exit at any point of time. You can share the video at the end of the broadcast as usual. When someone you follow is going LIVE with somebody else you can find it on the story bar with double profile icons (double circles) along with the LIVE icon. Instagram has also updated it’s Help Center so if you have any question about this feature, then you can click here to get all your answers.
That’s all about the new feature on Instagram. If you are using Instagram let us know your impression on this feature. If you have any questions/feedback/suggestions about 360TechLife, do contact us via Email at firstname.lastname@example.org
