Samsung pay, the most simple and secured mobile payment method is finally available in India. The official launch is yet to be done. But the Samsung India is currently running an “Early Access Program ” where users can register to use Samsung Pay.
On February 4, 2017 we have posted an article about the arrival of Samsung Pay in India and the challenges that Samsung Pay might face in India. Most of our predictions are correct. The number of Banks, device compatibility and the payment terminals these are the key elements of Samsung Pay. Currently the service is available for limited devices and Banks. However, you can expect more compatible devices and software updates for already available devices which have the potential to run Samsung Pay app in the near future.
These are the smartphones which are currently compatible for Samsung pay.

As we have informed before, there are several other devices which can run Samsung Pay such as the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Gear S2, Gear S3 etc. However, currently they are not compatible with Samsung Pay for now. If you have one of these devices, you might get the update in the near future as they have the hardware in them to run Samsung Pay. One of the most interesting feature for Samsung Pay in India is the integration of Samsung Pay wallet and Paytm wallet. So it’s true that you can link your Paytm wallet to Samsung Pay.
Samsung India has already set up a dedicated support team (Chat, Call, Email) to provide 24X7 support to their customers.
